Many users reported that the air source heat pump underfloor heating was not hot. In fact, there are many reasons for the air source heat pump not being hot, some of which are caused by internal reasons and some by external reasons. Therefore, when dealing with it, you must first find the root cause of the problem, and remember not to deal with it blindly.
1. Small effective heat dissipation area
The working principle of air source heat pump underfloor heating is heat radiation from bottom to top. If there are many items placed on the floor at home, it will inevitably lead to a decrease in the effective heat dissipation area, affecting the heating effect.
2. There is gas in the pipe
If the main pipe of the air source heat pump underfloor heating is hot, but the return pipe is not hot, it is very likely that there is gas in the pipe, causing the hot water to not enter the loop circulation. You can vent it through the vent valve on the water distributor.
3. Filter blockage
If the main pipe is not hot, it means that the filter is blocked. This kind of filter blockage has a lot to do with the quality of your local heating water. After the filter is blocked, it will definitely affect the internal circulation of the heating system. You can use a wrench to remove the filter, clean the filter inside, and then put it back.
4. Pipe blockage
Some data show that every year of floor heating, the pipe wall will form 1mm of dirt. Don't underestimate this 1mm, which is enough to cause the indoor temperature to drop by about 6℃. Therefore, the air source heat pump underfloor heating should be cleaned every 3 to 5 years.
5. Improper construction
Although this situation is rare, it does happen from time to time. Some irresponsible or inexperienced plumbers will arbitrarily expand the coil spacing, or even have dead bends in the coil, resulting in poor water circulation and affecting heat dissipation. So try to choose some professional companies when installing, and don't be greedy for small profits and suffer big losses.
