A control method of air source heat pump and air source heat pump. The air source heat pump comprises an inner machine, an outer machine and a water pump. The air source heat pump also comprises a first water side heat exchanger, and a first water side heat exchanger arranged inside the inner machine, a first heat exchange flow path and a second heat exchange flow path are arranged in the first water side heat exchanger, a third heat exchange flow path and a fourth heat exchange flow path are arranged in the second water side heat exchanger, a first control valve is arranged between the first end of the third heat exchange flow path and the terminal heating device, and a second control valve is arranged between the second end of the third heat exchange flow path and the water pump. The air source heat pump provided by the invention is provided with a supplementary water side heat exchanger (second water side heat exchanger) in addition to the conventional water side heat exchanger (first water side heat exchanger) when the air conditioner is in refrigeration operation and the refrigeration capacity is insufficient, the reverse flow of refrigerant and water in the supplementary water side heat exchanger can enhance the refrigeration effect and greatly improve the satisfaction of users.
