A defrosting control method of air source heat pump based on infrared ray and air source heat pump. When the air source heat pump is heating, the infrared receiver and the infrared emitter are disconnected and connected, and the relationship between the surface temperature t of the outdoor heat exchanger and the first preset temperature t 1 is obtained, judge the air source heat pump to maintain the heating mode or enter the defrosting mode; after the air source heat pump enters the defrosting mode, judge again the break and connection of the infrared receiver and infrared transmitter loop, and the relationship between the surface temperature t of the outdoor heat exchanger and the first preset temperature t 2 determines whether the air source heat pump maintains or quits the defrosting mode. The defrosting device has the advantages of reliable defrosting, no misdefrosting phenomenon, defrosting according to the operation requirements of the unit, reduced defrosting energy consumption, thereby ensuring higher operation efficiency of the unit and prolonging the service life of the unit, the benefits of efficient energy use.
