The heat pump uses natural CO2 as the circulating working fluid. Based on the principle of the Lorenz transcritical cycle, its operation process is as follows: The heat release process of the working fluid in the CO2 heat pump system is carried out in the supercritical zone. First, the low-temperature and low-pressure carbon dioxide gas is compressed to high-temperature and high-pressure gas in the compressor, and enters the gas heat exchanger for exchange (to produce hot water). The exchanger absorbs heat and becomes a low-temperature, low-pressure gas that enters the compressor and is compressed into a high-temperature, high-pressure gas. Such a cycle is repeated to realize the thermodynamic cycle.
